Don’t you think it’s past time to Unleash your Imagination?
You may not realize this – but it’s likely been cooped up way too long.
I found this really cool mind-map online while I was searching for an image for Imagination to share in this post. This is one way to let your Imagination run…
The time is now to be creative… it’s time to let your imagination go wild and see where it leads you.
Truth be told – I love quotes (in case you didn’t already get that from reading my posts). Today I’m going to share one of my favourite quotes from Mark Twain – in fact it’s so dear to me that it’s on the wall in my office so I can see it everyday.
It was a Christmas gift from my kids last year!
A hint so to speak to quit letting my life pass me by – a push to remind me to start dreaming again and to act on those dreams…
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover.
~ Mark Twain
So go ahead and find a happy place to escape to – start dreaming your dreams – open your mind and let your imagination run free – let this freedom begin to inspire and motivate yourself into being creative. Then take those newly found creative thoughts and do something with them.
But how do you clear your head and your mind to allow for your imagination to just wander so to speak? Great question…
For me – and this is a fairly new realization – it’s walking or jogging, with no music, just me and my surroundings and my open mind. It’s fascinating to experience.
Somewhere along the path of life, in all of the busyness of it – people seem to lose sight, and lose the connection with their inner child and thus their imagination. I’m not sure how and I’m not sure why… I guess the answer could be that ‘Life Just Happens’ – and some things get misplaced in the shuffle.
But how can we get it back – Do you want to get it back?
Ahh – Yes Please – Count Me In…
The answers lie within us all – our imaginations are still there – perhaps they’ve just been hibernating so to speak (laying low like broccoli) until we came to our senses and realize that life is just more fun with a little more imagination.
Tag… Your It. It’s your turn to share your view.
Have you misplaced and/or found your imagination? How did you do it and more importantly, what are you doing with it?
