I love “Seuss-isms”… How about you?
As a kid I was always in awe with Dr. Seuss books. The images and the colours flew off the pages and came to life. The rhyming and peculiar choices of words, not only told a vivid story, but they seemed to have a lesson to be learned too.
Dr. Seuss books seemed wacky and weird, eccentric and entertaining, fascinating and fun, and oddly enough those “Seuss-isms” were educational too.
Did you know that Dr. Seuss’ real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel, and that he published 46 children’s books?
Here’s just a few of my favourite quotes that inadvertently taught a lesson or two…
Truth be told – there’s so many great ones to choose from. (I’ll have to share more some other time).
