The Blogging Adventure Continues…

Wow… It’s hard to believe that a month has come and gone already.

Yup – a month ago I decided to finally take the leap – pushed past some fears – and began this crazy blogging thing. So how’s it going… Well let me share my thoughts on that.

As you know based on my first blog post “The Adventure Begins…” sharing of myself online is kinda new (well the blogging format is). Online Social sharing isn’t new but writing personal blogs is new to me.

Has it progressed as I had expected… I’m not clear on that one yet – as it’s only been a month and I didn’t really set any concrete expectations at the onset. Except for the fact that I decided early (2 days in to be precise) to only publish posts during the week and have my weekends free – I can say that I’ve stuck to that. [Read more…]

A Song Can Say So Much…

Do you enjoy listening to music… and do you actually listen to the words of the songs too?

I do – I tend to be more into the words myself, although the music needs to compliment the song of course.

I believe that a song can say so much more than what we initially hear – how about you?

Working From Home Has It’s Advantages

Do you work from home – and if you do – do you enjoy it?

I’ve been working from home for a few years now, and my husband has been working from home even longer. It’s almost like we’ve come full circle, other than we don’t have any employees working out of our home (like we did in the beginning), and our working environments are definitely different.

Let me share a little of our history so you can understand my comment of coming full circle – hang in there – I’ll try to keep it short…

There comes a point in time — in life actually — when you mysteriously slip out of the fast lane, to side step – back step – or two-step, to pause and take a good look around at your surroundings.

When this happens – embrace it. Take a deep breath (or two) and pause – just be still. Take time to ponder & reflect… to question yourself about life – to dig deep & ask the tough questions… “What empowering lessons have I learned thus far in my life?”
