Kindness is a very big thing.
It may not seem like much at the time – when you give a smile, share a hug, or offer someone a helping hand.
But it feels good, it feels right, and somehow that small act of kindness, becomes so much more than was intended when you started.
Did you know…
Kindness is a universal language?
“Kindness is a language
that the deaf can hear
and the blind can see.”
~ Mark Twain
Random acts of kindness are often best… they are unexpected, unanticipated, and totally a gift from the heart. Both the giver and the recipient share in the joy that kindness brings.
Being an action so free to give, you’d think that kindness would be shared more often. Sadly, it seems such acts of kindness have been lost or their values confused over the years.
But every once in a while you’ll catch a glimpse of it – a random act of kindness… and it’s rewards are more than meets the eye.
Acts of kindness are often viewed as acts of giving & helpfulness too.
Helping someone in need because one can and not for the advantage of the helper themselves.
Giving of oneself without looking for, or expecting anything in return, but rather only for that of the person helped.
Truth be told – Kindness has not been forgotten – it just needs to be recognized and appreciated.
You see – being kind is a choice and that choice is yours to make.
Kindness is rewarding, and kindness is contagious…
Whether it be a smile, a hug, a kind word, a compliment, or a helping hand… acts of Kindness have no boundaries…
So – Be kind and spread kindness where ever you go. Strive to become an inspiration for others to practice kindness too!
Thank you for stopping by – would you like to share a thought about Kindness?
